Principles of my work:
I was born near what was called Kutani-mura,in Kaga(currently southern Ishikawa Prefecture),where”Ko-kutani”was first baked in the Edo period.
Among the works,there is a group of works called”Aote-kokutani”the blue of which fascinated me so much that I determined to produce such a work as heals and is loved by a person as long as possible. Thus I entered this world of colored porcelain production.
In a new way of using board-shaped clay,and with motifs of flowers birds,I am exploring to create an original world of colored porcelain,giving expression to the present time fleeting by.
